What They Manufacture

Providing Moulding Solutions

A rapidly growing area of the business is commercial Research and Development. Customers go to Composite Integration when they have a moulding problem or are unsure how to mould a specific part. The CI team work collaboratively to find a solution that meets the customers’ expectations.

This picture shows a Composite Door project which is one such example where a door manufacturer approached CI to help them develop a composite door with a quality of finish and intricacy of moulded detail far beyond their competitors’ products. You can read about the project here.

Composite Tooling

Composite Integration’s specialist workshop is led by skilled technicians who have extensive experience in specifying and building composite tooling for closed-mould processes.

Their fully equipped workshop produces tooling for a wide range of applications in a controlled environment, creating complex closed moulds such as the one pictured here. You can watch a video of how a closed mould is made on the Composite Tooling info page here.

Making High Volume Production Possible

When designing a new lightweight fast-deployment camera tripod, a video equipment company chose to work with Composite Integration to develop the manufacturing process for the tubular carbon fibre legs pictured here. The company also needed to be able to manufacture these tripods at high volume too so the project was a complex process of research, testing and manufacture which was a great success – you can read about here.

CIJECT™ Two- RTM/VRTM Injection Machine

The most sophisticated machine in the Composite Integration range is the Ciject Two. This is based around a powerful modular touch-screen PLC (programmable logic controller) which gives the user a wide range of options and control functions. The team is proud of creating a machine with an unrivalled level of control while still being simple to operate.
