Founded in 1901, Vispring is a manufacturer of beds. These beds are considered to be amongst the most comfortable and luxurious beds you can buy.
The pocket springs that sit inside the mattress of every Vispring bed have 6 turns as this is considered to be the best amount of turns for the most comfortable and supportive bed mattress.
Many well known furniture retailers stock Vispring beds – perhaps the most famous is the Harrods store in London. Their partnership has lasted 70 years and in 2019 they unveiled a new showroom space in the store.
Vispring also makes beds for Plymouth’s own (and Britain’s largest) luxury yacht maker, Princess Yachts. The beds are especially made with rounded corners to fit the yacht layout perfectly.
Vispring beds are also to be found in the first class cabins of ocean cruise liners and in luxury hotels around the world.
After decades of innovation and countless bespoke mattresses, Vispring was given the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2012. The award honours any business that has excelled in the fields of international trade, innovation or sustainable development. It’s one of the company’s proudest achievements.
