Experts in their Field

Leaders in Flexographic Printing Technology

PCMC lead the industry in their flexographic printing technology as their machines are designed to reduce costs and waste while increasing efficiency for their clients.

Flexographic printing (also known as Flexo) is the printing of flexible materials such as paper, card, textiles. In simple terms, it uses rotating cylinders, one of which is wrapped in flexible print plates which leaves a pattern on the material by picking up ink from a rotating cylinder underneath (which in turn picks up ink from an ink reservoir underneath that)

This technology is used for large print runs and is especially good for manufacturing packaging. For example companies would purchase flexographic printing machines from PCMC to print packaging.

Non-wovens technology

Nonwoven materials are those that are fabric-like but are neither knitted or woven, instead the fibres are bonded together by either heat, chemical, mechanical or solvent treatments …. teabags and facial wipes are examples of use for non-woven materials.

PCMC manufactures the machines which can fold these non-woven materials at fast speeds and hygienically. For example, producers of wet-wipes or facial tissues would purchase a PCMC machine to be able fold and stack their wipes and tissues ready for its packaging. Next time you take a wet-wipe from the packet, think how they have been especially folded to make the next wet wipes ready for when you need it but keeping it protected at the same time. PCMC machines enable the wet-wipe manufacturer to do this.
