Did you know?
A microLED is a microscopic LED. An LED stands for a Light-Emitting Diode which is a type of solid-state lighting that uses a semiconductor to convert electricity into light.
Today's LED bulbs can be 6 to 7 times more energy efficient than conventional incandescent lights and cut energy use by more than 80 percent.
Good quality LED's can have a useful lifespan of up to 50,000 hours. This means an LED switched on for seven hours a day, 365 days a year, can last for nearly 20 years before you need to replace it.
